It was past the hour of ten in the evening when I approached the reception area of the Linden Suites Ortigas and asked for assistance towards the 19th Floor of the newly refurbished Tower I.  

I was late for the supposed get-together with the travel bloggers and as I knocked on the door of unit 1906, Oman opened the door with a welcoming smile.  

It's then time to party as I greeted each of the travel bloggers inside the executive suite.

Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino located at Lahug is a four-star hotel situated right at the center of the Queen City of the South.  From a distance, it resembles a castle of an imposing structure welcoming all guests of the province.  And all guests are to each it own, a part of the royal family.

San Juan, Batangas is the nearest getaway from Metro Manila for beach lovers as it takes an approximate of two hours to reach the destination.

Despite the notion that a long travel time will again consume my day, who am I to refuse an all-expense paid trip?

And off we go to Laiya Coco Grove for a company outing.

Last minute preparations is what I am good at.  This is a self-proclaimed assessment of myself on my trip to Kuala Lumpur along with good friends.  The choice of the hotel was not a random one as other friends already booked theirs months before the scheduled trip.  But for our group (four), we did it on the week of scheduled trip.  But the catch is - we made a good deal getting room rates exactly the same as what our friends had months before.

We arrived late at night and the reception area was quite a busy one.  Indeed, a good indication of a good business and reputable service provided to varied tourists and businessmen having their transient stay in the city.

As the rainy season voluntarily welcomed itself in this tropical country of ours, I grabbed all my files, laptop and been invited by a few friends to have a staycation right at the center of Metro Manila.  With no toiletries and clothes on hand, just my files and a laptop, we had an overnight stay at the Pearl Manila Hotel.
