Avenida, Veteranos, Tacloban City, Leyte - For a gastronomic experience at its best when visiting Tacloban City, it is highly recommended to treat yourself to a sumptuous buffet dinner at the cheapest cost one could possibly imagine.  At 250 pesos, what more can you ask for?

Fresh from the kitchen and boasting of the culinary expertise of their local chef, my parents and I were fortunate to be the first visitors to be served for the day.  

As festive as the facade of the restaurant, almost all traditional Filipino cuisine expected to be at the dining table during town fiestas are served at Stephanie's (as locals call it for abbreviation).

Then, after a few minutes of waiting for the delectable and wide array of Filipino cuisine to choose from, the waiting staff started filling-out the dining table like a banquet was about to start.

It was an indeed a dining feast!  With an ambiance akin to that of attending a family celebration, guests are indeed welcome to indulge in a gastronomic experience just the way you wanted it to be.  Definitely, there are still a lot of dishes including the seafoods and the lechon to try but for time constraints as I only seldom visit Tacloban City, I am occupied by other meet-ups as well and so I was only able to try the first batch of dish served.

Generosity and hospitality combined is definitely the passion of the restaurant's owner, that is, for every guest to taste almost all traditional Filipino cuisine in an appetite that serves you at your maximum.
