AZALEA HOTELS AND RESIDENCES BAGUIO CITY
In
yet another random circumstance, a road trip commenced to the City of Pines one
weekend. There was a heavy downpour
enroute and even as we reached Baguio City.
It
was one memorable weekend though at Baguio City’s first and only 4-star
serviced apartment hotel. A narrow
uphill street leading to a hidden haven.
And at the end of the road, there stood the Azalea Hotels and Residences
Baguio. Our home for another weekend.
TRADISYON RESTAURANT
Checking-in
was done swiftly and in time for dinner we were ushered directly to their
in-house restaurant named Tradisyon. Apt for its name, Filipino cuisine is
their specialty – the well-loved and familiar local food sought after by
Filipinos usually on holidays or on a feast.
Complimentary
breakfast was served at Tradisyon as
well. They have choices of buffet and ala carte.
DELUXE SUITE
After
the sumptuous dinner, we were ushered to our assigned Deluxe room with a
front-view balcony. There are five

The
suite served as our home for the weekend.
The over-sized suite is furnished with living and entertainment
facilities, kitchen for light cooking and comfortable bedroom amenities.
The
heavy rain and the ultra comfortable beds with imported linens were good factors
to a sound sleep and lazing around in the bedroom. If not for the outdoor activities and Baguio
City being an interesting destination, staying indoors would have been a good
idea.
The
en-suite bathroom comes with hot and cold shower and azalea branded bath amenities.
Hairdryer, ironing facility, vanity mirrors and bath robes are likewise
available.
The
living room and entertainment amenities include LCD TV with DVD player, cable
channel, convertible sofa bed and analog telephone.
The
suite being ideal for friends and family gatherings. The kitchen and dining area is likewise
complete with amenities such as electric cooktops with range hood, microwave
oven, rice cooker, refrigerator, electric water kettle, dinnerware set,
silverware set, pots and pans (upon request), complimentary tea and coffee
amenity set, complimentary bottled water, in-room dining and guest mini bar.
HOTEL SECURITY FEATURES
Security
being the main consideration for guests.
Azalea Residences gives utmost importance to security. There is an installed electronic
identification door lock system, electronic in-room safe fitted for laptops and
gadgets, smoke detectors and sprinkler system, electrical outlet (220V),
emergency lights and non-smoking rooms.
FACILITIES
Apart
from the hotel’s in-house restaurant, the hotel has function halls and meeting
rooms, three (3) levels of basement parking, play area, handicapped accessible
rooms, spa and massage services, souvenir shop, drivers’ quarters,
complimentary wifi access, travel and vacation concierge, valet parking and car
hire, laundry pressing and dry cleaning services, private car and taxi cab
arrangement, daily local newspaper, 24-hour medical service assistance,
business center and credit card payment facility.
With
all these facilities, it is no wonder why the hotel can indeed be your
residence. Service is exceptionally good
and excellent. They have a cheerful
staff and hotel attendants that makes you feel welcome and pampered akin to the
comforts of home.
