FIBREFILL: EXPERIENCE QUALITY SLEEP ON NON-WOVEN PRODUCTS
Sleep
is a luxury in itself for those always on the road and even for workaholics who
devote more time to be corporate slaves.
Sleeping time is the so-called holy hours – a sacred one and a time for
pampering one’s self.
I
rate hotel staycations based on the comfort and quality sleep I had. If there is one common denominator for my
trip in Boracay Island and Baguio City, while staying at Ferra Hotel and Azalea Residences, respectively, that is, more time were spent within the confines
of the hotel than its landmark destinations.
Recently,

During
the Hotel Supplier’s Show at the SMX Convention Mall of Asia, I had the
opportunity of meeting the kind and humble Managing Director of FMI, Mr. David
Lim. He shared the humble beginnings of
the company, its mission and vision and how the Company eventually become the
manufacturer of some of the largest selling brands in the Philippines.
What
then is fiberfill? Also known as
polyfill/padding, it is synthetic, polyester fiber used for pillow filling,
quilted materials and the like. FMI’s polyfill is fully washable and
non-hypoallergenic. Their products are highly
reliable and are being used for infant bedding.
Due to its high resiliency, it can readily adjust to the shape of the
body and recover immediately after use and even retain its property for
repeated use. Although they have
standard sizes, their products are flexible enough to adjust according to size
requirements.
FMI
products can be easily vacuum-packed thereby saving on freight while
shipping. On releasing the vacuum at the
consumer’s end, the products regain their original shape and size but it needs
to have an additional fluffing to regain original shape and size.
For
long haul flights, travellers can make use of their custom-made neck pillows. And it sure makes a good travel companion. I am actually using the big soft pillows of
Fibrefill at home and it definitely provides me the comfort and the good night sleep
I long for after the hectic work and travel schedules I have.
