PEACE AND LOVE RESORT - SAN VICENTE, PALAWAN
Peace and love goes hand in
hand. When attached as a simple hotel
name, it becomes unnecessary to delve into the details of why it has come
about. Not the usual resort near the
shorelines of the longest beach in the Philippines, the resort is nestled on top
of a hill with an infinity pool that gives a panoramic detail of what Palawan
is known for.

Peace and Love Resort
through its general manager/owner, Steve, German national, (contact number: +63 9399261388) welcomed us with complimentary
drinks at the restaurant bar. We arrived
at around noon time, thus, we had our lunch at the resort’s lounge and
restaurant, serving delectable Filipino cuisine. My favorite adobo was definitely a part of our dining table.

We were assigned to a deluxe
sunset room with a terrace providing a view of the San Vicente Bay. Sunset could have been best viewed at our
room’s balcony, but the weather did not cooperate. It was raining.

Modern Asia is the
theme of the resort’s room interiors. All
rooms are equipped with a 24-hour power supply, air-conditioned, fan, mini bar,
safety box, free wifi, springbed mattress, hot and cold shower by solar,
terrace or balcony and well-decorated furniture with a stylish sofa set. (click to check rates)
The infinity pool was a
standout amenity for me. We stayed for a
number of hours at the pool until we decided to call it a night and sleep. The pool is open twenty-four hours, thus, it
was truly a relaxing experience.
The hotel's staff and the
owners of the resort were there to assist every guest as well. They are truly helpful and courteous in the
best way they can.
The resort’s ambiance is a
peaceful one – no loud music and unnecessary activities. A simple relaxing mood emanates from the said
hotel and even fellow guests can be your new found friends.

For visitors of San Vicente,
Palawan, not into camping, Peace and Love Resort, which comes with affordable
and reasonable rates, is definitely a highly recommended accommodation.
