RAINY WEEKEND STAYCATION AT HOLIDAY INN MANILA GALLERIA
In the true sense of
staycation and bonding, my friends and I on one rainy weekend stayed at one of
the premier hotels of the buzzling Ortigas area of Metro Manila – Holiday Inn Manila Galleria.
Directly connected to
Robinsons Galleria mall and surrounded by known establishments and landmarks in
the likes of Asian Development Bank, Philippine Stock Exchange and Meralco, our
home base for the weekend has the perfect strategic location. However, for two days we didn’t go out, just
stayed at our room, slept, drink and shared stories.
TWO-BEDROOM SUITE
The hotel offers 285 deluxe
rooms and suites. We settled at one of
the suites with two spacious bedrooms, a common area for living room and a mini
kitchen. It felt like living in a

We had a quality sleep and
slept for as much as we want almost the whole day, if not for a scheduled
dinner elsewhere. The room provides
comfortable signature beds, premium bedding, with a choice of soft and firm
pillows. Premium amenities are likewise
provided such as high speed wifi internet, 32-inch LCD TV, complimentary coffee
and tea and mini bar.
The ensuite bathroom is
likewise spacious with a bath tub conducive for relaxation. It comes with a complete set of toiletries.
The living room served as
our drinking spree venue and a common area for us to lounge and plan our
travels. It felt like home. Unlike other staycations where we usually
watch movies and drink, sleeping time took a great percentage of our time while
at the hotel.
The staycation indeed gave a
good purpose for our exhausted selves.
The rainy weather contributed as well to our laziness and the hotel room
served as our refuge.
FAB RESTAURANT
The in-house all-day dining
restaurant of Holiday Inn Manila Galleria served as our dining area for
breakfast. The restaurant is designed
for families. There is a corner that caters
to kids with light breakfast being served.
We had a breakfast buffet
then with a wide selection of cuisine. A
la carte is likewise available for other meals of the day. The interior is quite simple providing an
ambiance conducive to dining.

provides exceptional and personalized service.
From the cheerful receptionists and to the attentive housekeeping staff,
they have delivered and lived up to my expectation of what a Holiday Inn
hospitality service should be.
Our group have experienced
staying at Holiday Resort Lombok, Indonesia and Krabi, Thailand. Quality and excellent service were provided
to us, treating us like VIPs, which makes us expect that the same shall be
given by our very own in Manila. And it
did so.
That one rainy weekend was a
rejuvenating one, more particularly made possible by the great hospitality
service of Holiday Inn Manila Galleria.
