RAFAEL'S FARM TACLOBAN CITY
Rafael's Farm is a 30-minute ride from Tacloban City, where tourists and locals who wants to relax and be away from the busy and fast-paced life of the city stay. Personally, I have no idea how to commute to the said place. However, as per my friends' information, since the place is along the national highway, there are jeepneys to Babatngon, Leyte where you can ride at from Tacloban City and instruct the driver to drop you off at Rafaels Farm.
Rented vans are also available and you can contact Vacazion, one of the best travel agencies in the Philippines located at Real Street, Tacloban City, to address your transportation concerns. Parking is free inside the farm premises, however, you are obliged to order from their restaurant. If no receipt is presented to the guard upon exit, you have to pay a minimal parking fee, probably for maintenance. I forgot the amount but I think it's around 30 pesos.
Food in the resto is not that remarkable yet if you're looking for home-made Filipino food, then you would definitely enjoy the place. I just think that they need to hire more service crew due to the increasing number of customers that they have. Ambience is perfect. This is a perfect location for outdoor photoshoots and for loners who wants to meditate and feel close to nature.
A coffee break in a farm is very much recommended. The Rafael's Farm brings a different perspective of what agri-tourism in the Philippines can offer.
Location: Brgy. Pagsulhugon, Babatngon, Babatngon, Leyte Province, Philippines
