VAUDE IN MANILA
The spirit of mountain sports is in the Philippines. Through Tripologie, a travel shop with two branches in the metro, the German-producer of mountain sports equipment and outdoor outfitter, Vaude, (pronounced as fau-de), is made known to the Filipino community.

We were at the latter one
day last February for the grand launch of Vaude,
the newest addition to the prestigious line-up of outdoor apparel brands that
the shop offers.
The simple presentation of Vaude to us made me conclude this is no ordinary
brand. The adjustable back straps,
accessible and handy compartments, mesh pockets and waterproof fabric are
technical details of outdoor backpacks that Vaude
has addressed. Vaude backpacks and luggage are definitely engineered to suit the necessities
of varied travelers, especially made of sturdy materials apt for long journeys.
Tripologie, exclusive
distributor of Vaude bags and luggage
in the Philippines, has an existing partnership with Trail Adventours, one of
the respectable mountaineering tour groups in the country, where Vaude backpacks have already been
introduced in the Philippine terrestrial domain, the mountains to be specific,
through their organized tours. And the
group is firm in concluding that though these bags have been abused in terms of
usage, with the compact storage it has, these bags perfectly deliver under all
weather conditions.
But will Vaude withstand a more than a month backpacking adventure? Around the Philippines? Or around Southeast Asia maybe?
