EXPERIENCE PARIS AT PARK VIEW ROYAL HOTEL BANDUNG
The interior design says it
all. From the lobby, reception, dining
area and the rooms itself, Park View
Royal Hotel Bandung is a representation of Parisian theme with a twist of
modern eclectic in this part of Java.
From the airport, we were
fetched by the hotel shuttle and immediately checked-in and assigned our
respective rooms for the 4-day stay at Bandung City. With the full and tiresome itinerary that we
have for the day, it was a relief that we have a brand new hotel experience to
relax and unwind.
Bandung City is also known
as “Kota Kembang” which means The
Flower City. Inspired by the city’s
nickname, the interior design of the hotel incorporates floral accents. The same is evident even on the grand and
spacious reception and dining area at the ground floor. And as we pass by the hallways, the
custom-made wood carving at furniture and panelling embodied the flower
concept. It is said that all these are
hand-made by local craftsmen using the finest wood material.
PARISIAN BLUE ROOM
The hotel offers three
different types of guest rooms and four luxurious unique suites. I was assigned alone at one of the Parisian
Blue rooms and my travel buddies on the room adjacent to mine.
It would have been fun had I
shared the room with some friends but I’m not complaining anyway. It was still enjoyable to have the room all
by myself – for a truly luxurious and comfortable stay.
They call my room as the
“Romantic Classic Bedroom with a Touch of Blue”. All rooms are non-smoking and that it is
well-decorated with a tiffany blue motif of a simple and classic style. Guests can choose between a twin hollywood
bed and a queen single bed. I opted for the former though I am alone in the

The air-conditioned room
features direct dial telephone; 32 inch Samsung LED TV with international cable
channels; luxury 34 cm thick mattress and pillow top by King Koil, which is
noted to be the world’s number one sleep system since 1898, with sophisticated
comfort technology; free internet wifi; in-room safe deposit box; mini bar;
coffee and tea making facilities; bathroom amenities and slippers and bathroom
with walk-in rain shower.
HOTEL FACILITIES
For most of the time, we
just stayed on our respective rooms to relax when not outside to explore the
city. The hotel’s facilities complemented
in the quality stay that we have experienced apart from the room itself. Among the hotel facilities include the
24-hour security and CCTV, 24-hour front desk, 24-hour room service, 24-hour
concierge service, free airport shuttle service, laundry, meeting and banquette
facility, restaurant and lounge, warm swimming pool and a children’s playground
to open soon.
LE JARDIN
Literally interpreted in
French language as garden, Le Jardin is
set up to provide and recreate an atmosphere of a Parisian garden. The all-day dining restaurant offers
delectable French and authentic Indonesian cuisine with Parisian decorated
setting.
Our complimentary breakfast
was served at Le Jardin with
operating hours of 6AM to 10PM during Mondays to Thursdays and 6AM to 11PM on
Fridays to Sundays.
It was good dining
experience made cozy by the ambiance it provides.
OVER-ALL SERVICE
The hotel’s aim is for
guests to experience a quirky brand new hotel experience. The hotel staff were indeed helpful in giving
us the basic tips and guides on where to and what to do in the city. They were efficient and hospitable. And even for room service, they were prompt
to address our concerns.
I haven’t been to Paris but
whatever the reference may be, the stay was indeed a luxurious and a pampered
one.

I can grow professionally, but compare hotel rates info. I really like rate compare.com; it works like a Meta search for hotels. You just need to enter your desired location or hotel; select dates and filter for your preference and you get a bunch of results from various booking sites. It's very intuitive to use and page loading times are really fast in my opinion, I use the page frequently to check for hotels. ….price comparison for hotels
