WEEKEND STAYCATION AT THE LINDEN SUITES MANILA

It was past the hour of ten in the evening when I approached the reception area of the Linden Suites Ortigas and asked for assistance towards the 19th Floor of the newly refurbished Tower I.

I was late for the supposed get-together with the travel bloggers and as I knocked on the door of unit 1906, Oman opened the door with a welcoming smile.

It's then time to party as I greeted each of the travel bloggers inside the executive suite.

Songs of varied interpretations fill the room of unit 1906 as I enter
.
It was indeed a great time for bonding with friends and catching up with blogger friends as we share our travel adventures and even personal life updates.

The travel bloggers occupied eight (8) units of the 19th floor, but we all gathered at unit 1906 for this once in a lifetime gathering of some of the best travel bloggers of the country.  Indeed, I was fortunate to have been invited to this event.

Filipino cuisine was set at the dining table contributed by each Filipino travel blogger including foreign travel blogger guests, Sabrina of Just One Way Ticket and Kate of Adventurous Kate.

Cebu's Original Lechon Belly took the spotlight of the dining table. And thanks to Mr. Marlon Gochan for the treat.  For a similar dining experience, the following are the contact details in Metro Manila:

Special thanks to Fly Ace Corporation as well for the Frontera wines from Chile.  Indeed, the great tasting wines complement the never-ending chat with friends.

The executive room was indeed spacious to fit eighteen lively souls and story tellers.  Nowhere is competing for space an issue.

The room has its own living room, a kitchen, bathroom and of course the bedroom with a view of the city's skyline.

Indeed, one can say it's a home away from home.  Staycation defined in the City of Pasig amidst the city lights and the busy streets of Ortigas Center.

Past midnight, each blogger started to crawl to their assigned rooms and called it a night.  While, I, Gay and Gino, were left sharing never-ending stories of life over dozens of consumed wine glasses.  With a room conducive for bonding with friends, time stood still for us.  Then, we finally succumb to the soft comforters of our bed and dozed off.

In a few hours, breakfast  was served at the second floor of the hotel, Mesclun Restaurant and Cafe and  I was the last one to arrive.

The Marketing Communications Manager of the Linden Suites, Mr. Michael Anthony Sagaran, warmly welcomed us for the first meal of the day.  A fusion of Asian and European cuisine is being served at the said restaurant with a truly delightful ambiance to start the day.
